Gab: Hi, I’m Gab.

Damien: Hi, I’m Damien and you’re live with Affordable Staff. This is where Gab and I answer those questions we get asked each and every week when we’re talking to clients and people right around Australia or New Zealand. And today’s question, Gab, is: What’s the time difference between Australia or New Zealand and the Philippines? So, what is the time difference?

Gab: Okay. So we’re actually two hours behind Brisbane. We have the same time zone as Perth.

Damien: Okay. Awesome. So what about daylight savings? ‘Cause, a lot of Australia and also New Zealand goes into daylight savings time, so the time difference would be in New South Wales, Victoria, and Tasmania during daylight savings, that would be three hours?

Gab: Three hours, yes. And that’s two and a half hours behind South Australia.

Damien: Okay. And New Zealand, so it’s four hours, standardized four hours behind New Zealand and five hours during daylight savings. Is that right?

Gab: Yes. Five hours behind during daylight savings. Correct.

Damien: Awesome. So the team gets up early and start really early especially for our New Zealand clients, don’t they?

Gab: Yeah they do. But it’s actually favorable for us because we get to end our shift early and we don’t have to work the night shift.

Damien: That’s good. So this has been Damien and Gab for Affordable Staff where there’s a better way to outsource.
